What you'll do

• Perform verification assessments of oil and gas equipment and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Evaluate design documentation, specifications, and test results to verify adherence to applicable codes.
• Create comprehensive verification plans outlining the scope, methodologies, and acceptance criteria for different projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to align verification activities with project timelines and milestones.
• Identify potential risks associated with the design and implementation of oil and gas projects.
• Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the overall safety and reliability of the systems.
• Engage with clients to understand their specific requirements and expectations for verification activities.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on compliance issues and best practices.
• Stay abreast of industry regulations, codes, and standards relevant to the oil and gas sector.
• Ensure that verification processes align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for verification activities.
• Conduct audits to verify that verification processes are consistently applied and meet company and industry standards.
• Generate comprehensive technical reports documenting verification activities, findings, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of verification processes and outcomes for future reference and auditing purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, project managers, and clients, to facilitate effective communication and integration of verification activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the verification workflow.
• Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of verification processes.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior verification engineers or other team members.
• Share knowledge and best practices to build a strong and competent verification team.
• Act as Bid Manager for upcoming Opportunities
• Act as Project Manager for simple and regular projects
