Job Identification
We are looking for an Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of Cold Drink Equipment (CDE) and fleet assets, managing maintenance activities, leading technical teams, supervising contractors, controlling service costs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting business growth through effective asset management in Erbil, Iraq
Main Responsibilities
1. Cold Drink Equipment (CDE) Management
- Manage installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of cold drink equipment, including coolers, dispensing equipment and water unit filters.
- Ensure equipment availability at customer locations.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate asset registers and maintenance records.
- Coordinate equipment deployment, recovery, refurbishment, and disposal activities.
- Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
2. Fleet Maintenance Management
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for company vehicles.
- Support admin team to monitor maintenance costs.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with workshops and service providers to minimize vehicle downtime.
3. Contractor Management
- Manage third-party maintenance contractors and service providers.
- Evaluate contractor performance against Service Level Agreements.
- Review work quality, safety compliance, and cost effectiveness.
- Process contractor service reports and verify completed work.
- Support contract negotiations and renewal processes.
4. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and supervise technicians and field service teams.
- Plan and allocate resources to meet operational requirements.
- Monitor team productivity and service quality.
- Conduct technical coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
5. Cost Control
- Control spare parts inventory and maintenance expenses.
- Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs while maintaining service quality.
- Monitor contractor and service costs against budget targets.
6. Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and local regulations.
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure technicians and contractors follow safe work practices.
- Investigate incidents and implement preventive actions.
7. Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare regular reports on equipment availability, fleet performance, maintenance costs, and contractor performance, spare part stock and availability as need, as well as back check report.
- Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
What We Expect
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Experience managing contractors and technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and asset management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems (SAP).
- English – intermediate
- Good knowledge of other CCI Systems.
- At least 3–5-year experience on engineering and technical and managerial positions in the area related to the company industry
- Experience in cooling systems.
