ABOUT THE ROLE

As a key member of project team, product engineer will lead the engineering activities of new product development to ensure all deliverables provided on time and high-quality, and cooperate with project members to ensure the project move forward smoothly by following TENPLUS procedure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical communication with customers
• Design the new shock absorber and release it (BOM & 2D drawings) in GPDM system
• Prepare engineering documents, such as DVP, CC/SC list, DFMEA, Supplier list
• Follow up DV/PV progress, includes releasing test request to testing lab
• Create sample binder, support prototype preparation & build event
• Release ride work & tuning kit request and support tuning event
• Lead problem solving for the engineering issues during development

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Know the new product development process for Tier 1 supplier that meet quality system requirement. Experience of working with EU/US OEs is preferred
• Minimum 5 years in machinery or automotive industry, chassis related is preferred）
• Good communication skills and independent work ability. A positive attitude and sense of teamwork
• Fluent English (or other foreign languages) in speaking and writing
• Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering
• Know the quality system and be able to use tools, like IATF16949, APQP, 6Sigma, 8D, DFMEA
• QS internal auditor or YB certification is plus
