Manufacturing Engineer
Brief Description
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Manufacturing Engineer to support and enhance production operations, with a strong focus on the design, improvement, and optimization of manufacturing fixtures. The role will be responsible for driving efficiency, quality, and safety through innovative tooling solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing process, fixtures, jigs, and tooling to enhance productivity and repeatability.
• Analyze current processes to identify opportunities for fixture optimization and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Lead continuous improvement projects (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing processes, tooling, and work instructions.
• Ensure fixtures meet ergonomic, safety, and quality standards.
• Evaluate and implement automation or semi-automation solutions where applicable.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process or tooling failures.
• Coordinate with suppliers for fixture fabrication, modifications, and validation.
• Maintain documentation including drawings, specifications, and process instructions.
• Qualify insourcing offloads and transfer validation through PPAP’s and Technical & Production Readiness

Basic Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 1-3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Proven experience in process improvements, implementing and developing tooling in a production environment.
• Proficiency in CAD & Engineering softwares, including:
• AutoCAD (2D drafting and layout plant distribution)
• Creo Parametric (3D modeling and OIS creation & modification)
• Quicksilver (OIS creation & modification)
• ERP System (Baan LN & 5C)
• Oracle (SFIS, MRCA & Solumina)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly, etc.).
• Knowledge of GD&T and technical drawings.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with tooling validation and process capability (Cp/Cpk).
• Experience working with aerospace, automotive, or metal-mechanical industries.
