Engineer 3, Asset Management-(260000CN)

JOB PURPOSE

Engineer 3, Asset Management will apply advanced-level engineering principles
to the development and maintenance of the asset management system, which
includes electric, gas, and water operations; facilities; and provides asset
functionality. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Apply advanced-level engineering principles
to perform, develop, set up, and maintain asset management system and
processes for facilities and electric, gas, and water operations, which consist of
asset groups, asset categories, asset attributes, activities, failure sets, and
preventative maintenance (PM) schedules. Provide advanced-level analysis of
asset functionality by monitoring trends, cost, failure history, and PM schedules.
Training end users on Oracle asset management system including asset
hierarchy, cost, and failure analysis. Act as liaison between facilities,
engineering and operation areas; and plant accounting to ensure accuracy of
assets. Stay abreast of the latest developments in asset management. Operate
Division vehicles and the utilization of computer hardware equipment and
software applications. Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

LICENSES AND
CERTIFICATIONS
A valid driver's license from state of residence is required.
EDUCATION bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering is
required.
EXPERIENCE Must have 4-6 years asset management or related engineering experience, will also accept level 1 or 2 engineer.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Must successfully complete NIMS Training within one year of entering job. Must
have occupational significant combination of advanced-level knowledge of and
the ability to apply advanced-level principles of engineering/methods to electric,
gas, and water operations, facilities and asset management system. Knowledge
of computer applications, organization ability to plan, formulate, and carry out
programs; oral/written communications skills; initiative skills; resource
management skills; integrity; analytical ability to solve complex problems; ability
to work as a team; and promote safe work practices. Work Environment: Works
in office majority of the time. May be subject to constructions hazards while
making field inspections.
