A position has become available for a TFF TPS FS Start-Up Engineer for 200mm based in Italy, Vimercate.

As a Start-up Engineer, you will support the installation of new and used equipment at the customer site, mainly in Italy and based on business needs, across Europe.

The role usually involves extensive travel (50 – 70%) on an international basis to our European customers.

Relocation costs (if applicable) will be in line with TEL’s policy.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support on the installation of new complex tools with a high focus in terms of quality and safety.
  • Study and use of different procedures to ensure the correct actions are implemented.
  • Establish trusting relationships internally and with external contacts, respects diversity and collaborate with the team and colleagues effectively.
  • Guarantee the customer’s satisfaction, maintaining daily communication, building effective relationships, and partnering with them to jointly lead the growth of our industry.

This role may require support also on 300 mm at our customer’s site.

Your skills and experience

  • High School diploma or completed professional training in a technical field (e.g. mechatronics technician electrical/electronic field).
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics, gases knowledge, would be a plus.
  • High customer orientation and excellent communication skills.
  • Good analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good proficiency in English language.
  • Good IT skills (MS Excel).
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Reflect TEL values and ethics, respect TEL safety, quality, compliance, and InfoSec initiatives at all times.
  • Availability for business travels within the region or at an international level.
  • Willingness to work on shifts, if required
