Engineer Design Contractor

Seeking an Engineer Design Contractor to assist in the planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and sound decision-making capabilities

Key Responsibilities

As an Engineer in the Design Group, a typical day might include:

• Working on gas storage or gas fueling station assignments
• Designing components or functionality for pipeline products
• Planning and designing mechanical equipment and components for maintenance projects
• Performing system balances to identify system low points and develop solutions
• Providing oversight and support for construction activities

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or General) with 1-3 years of progressive engineering experience
  OR
• Equivalent academic education and experience

Certifications (Preferred):

• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.)

Required Skills

• Project Management
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
• Basic proficiency in CAD/GIS (Computer-Assisted Design/Geographic Information System)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Intermediate proficiency in CAD/GIS tools
