As a Sales Manager you will oversee the relationship between StandardAero Business Aviation and its Central Region customers, both in sales and customer relations. The SM will be expected to travel in region to generate prospects, formulate work scopes, and finalize the sale of airframe maintenance, repairs, and/or modifications on StandardAero target aircraft. The region covers Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and Arkansas. Position resides and works out of the SW/Central region.

What you’ll do:

  • Conducts regional sales calls through visits, correspondence, telephone, and email
  • Monitors/manages sales/market conditions within assigned sales territory
  • Maintains relationship with regional Business Aviation organizations
  • Develops/maintains a relationship with aviation OEMs, suppliers, brokers, and vendors to increase knowledge of aircraft maintenance and repairs
  • Will be required to work closely with the Avionics, Engine, and Modification Sales Managers to develop proposals and project schedules
  • Maintains interaction with the Quoting Department to accurately develop airframe proposals
  • Expands sales within assigned territory with particular focus on Airframe business
  • Manages territory and pipeline data in Salesforce.com
  • Manages expenses within the budget
  • Travels extensively to meet sales and quota goals, 50-75%
  • Performs other duties as required by the Sales Director

Position Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of five years aviation (MRO) inside/outside sales or have technical background.
  • Position resides and works out of the SW/Central region.
  • Ability to travel on short notice, up to 75%.
  • Corporate aviation experience required.
  • Have a current and valid drivers license.
  • Have a valid passport.

Preferred Characteristics:

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Assertive, possesses high energy, and is self-motivated.
  • Proficient in computer applications: MSWord, Excel. Ideal candidate will also be proficient in SFDC.
