The Opportunity

Responsible for commercial analysis and sale of products within a designated market according to the strategy, developing relationships and analyzing customer demands, forwarding proposals and solutions and also identifying sales opportunities, aiming to achieve the objectives of the unit in which it operates.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Sell and analyze customer demands for products and solutions, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.

  • Seek to establish and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs, explaining and presenting the company's product and solution portfolio, keeping them aligned to build the sales process and offer the solution, through a visit plan coordinated with the Sales Manager.

  • Prospect new customers, seeking to increase the company's presence and share in the market.

  • Develop sales plans using company tools, by performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plans in cases of potential order failures.

  • Create added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy and contribute to successful results of transactions, contracts and proposals using effective sales techniques, providing details in accordance with Hitachi Energy's offer and strategy (delivery time, payments and general terms and conditions).

  • Carry out efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.

  • Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

  • Manage and advise on administrative procedures in sales processes and provide (technical) support for collection activities and project management when necessary.

  • Prepare technical/commercial offers in coordination with manufacturing units and/or the Marketing Manager, ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of the offers, including prices and negotiation conditions.

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s’ degree, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Electronics or similar

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Experience in the sales process and negotiation of technical solutions with customers required.

  • Experience in the transformer market (knowledge of distribution and/or power transformer, components, monitoring or digitalization of transformers).

  • Knowledge of the application of commercial policies and management of processes in the Salesforce system is desirable.

  • Bilingual skills (English & Spanish)
