Job Description

Support individuals in our Recovery program as part of a compassionate, mission‑driven team focused on stability, connection, and lasting change.

The Engagement Support Staff members are highly motivated individuals who are responsible for greeting and checking in members and visitors while assisting them with accessing the appropriate staff personnel.

They will be asked to assist as needed with business office responsibilities.

The Engagement Support Staff member:

  • Exemplifies a high level of customer service in all actions.
  • Answers phones and interacts with program members, staff, clinicians and visitors in a timely and pleasant manner.
  • Uses the EHR to check-in members presenting to program ensuring they are not i -scheduled for services and do not have any active clinical holds before removing check-in.
  • Helps to resolve member issues as they arise to avoid escalation to counselor or Supervisory staff.
  • Provides summarization when escalating issues and contacting necessary personnel.
  • Helps maintain the organization of the card room and assists with distribution of medication cards if an EHR outage occurs
  • Escorts members and all guests around the facility as needed.
  • Assists in Medical Records as needed Engagement Specialist Intake
  • Works in the Intake department and greets all new admissions and walk-ins
  • Assists with screening and registration process assisting with clerical duties.
  • Provide tours to new admissions and introduces them to their assigned counselors and key personnel.
  • Accepts changes in assignments in the spirit of good teamwork;
  • accepts constructive feedback about performance or behaviors;
  • demonstrates creative thinking and problem solving relating to issues or concerns.
  • All other duties as assigned as it relates to the position

Earn $18.68 per hour.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • One (1) year of experience working in an office setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and be proficient with standard office equipment
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible in, scheduling including weekend hours and holidays.
  • You will work onsite: Monday Tuesday 6:30 am-4pm; Wednesday 7:30am-4pm, Saturday and Sunday 7:30-1pm
