Drive Meaningful Consumer Engagement Across Aged Care
Redfern, Sydney | Full-Time Hybrid | 2 Days per Week in Office | National Aged Care Provider
The Salvation Army Aged Care is seeking an experienced and passionate Engagement and Advocacy Lead to drive resident, client and representative engagement across our Residential Aged Care, Home Care and Retirement Living services nationally.
This is a newly created and highly influential role offering the opportunity to shape and lead a national engagement framework that ensures consumer voices directly influence service quality, governance, advocacy outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Feedback, Engagement and Advocacy, you will lead engagement and advocacy initiatives nationally, building strong relationships with residents, clients, families, operational leaders and external stakeholders.
You will play a key role in strengthening consumer participation, supporting advocacy pathways, and ensuring engagement practices align with aged care standards, reform priorities and regulatory obligations.

This role is based in Redfern, Sydney, with hybrid working arrangements available. National travel across services will be required approximately every 6–8 weeks, particularly within the first 12 months, to support relationship building, engagement activities and consumer outcomes across sites.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
