The research assistant will join a multidisciplinary project team led by Nuria Sebastian, director of the Speech Acquisition and Perception lab, https://www.upf.edu/web/sap, Center for Brain and Cognition, https://www.upf.edu/web/cbc, Pompeu Fabra University. The position is supported by Grant PID2024-155658NB-I00 funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by “ERDF A way of making Europe”
The research aims at exploring the impact of language distance in early (simultaneous) bilingualism on fundamental processes of speech perception. To this end we plan to test a diverse sample of simultaneous bilinguals in adulthood.

La investigacio pretén explorar l'impacte de la distància lingüística en el bilingüisme precoç (simultani) en els processos fonamentals de percepció de la parla. Amb aquesta finalitat, tenim previst provar una mostra diversa de bilingües simultanis en l'edat adulta.
