Project description:

The project is focused on fostering a better Inclusion of children on the Autism Spectrum in regular class groups within the inclusion programs of the Departament d’Ensenyament del Govern de la Generalitat de Catalunya.

Line of research: Full-body Interaction.

Tasks to be performed:

• Preparing and maintaining lab equipment to conduct development and user testing.
• Controlling access and use of the lab.
• Supporting user testing both inside and outside the lab using our transportable mixed reality systems.
• Developing full-body interactive experiences for our mixed reality systems.
• 3D printing of parts needed for physical interfaces.
• Supporting educational activities conducted in the lab related to the technologies and projects being carried out in the lab.

The duration of these tasks is estimated over a period of 10 months.

Group and complement: Group 3 + Level u

Dedication and working hours: Part time (20 h/week).

Planned remuneration approx: 17.131,42 € gross per year

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Batxillerat-FP2/ High school-FP2.

The expected start date is September 1st 2026, the job is in Barcelona.

Selection criteria: The selection of the candidates will be made through evaluation of the curriculum and, where appropriate, with the carrying out a test and/or interview.

Valuation will be as follows:

1- Academic Training (0-40 points).

● Degree in Computer Engineering, Audiovisual Systems or similar, or in the final year of a similar engineering degree.

2- Other professional training and experience, adequacy to the proposed profile (0-55 points):

● Experience developing in Unity and programming in C#.

● Full-body interaction experience.

● Experience in Mixed Reality application development.

3- Other merits (0-5 points):

● 3D Printing Knowledge.

● Driver's license.

The minimum score to pass the selection process is 80 points. The candidate with the highest score in the selection process will be offered the job.
