About the role:
We are currently seeking a passionate ENG Camera Operator/Editor to join our team. Reporting to the NSW News Director, you will be responsible for shooting and editing high quality stories for news and updates. Working in a regional newsroom is an opportunity like no other - it is truly a rewarding experience where you will get to shoot all rounds of news. In areas such as the environment, sport, politics, you name it - you have the control to make a difference within the community. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, based at our Wollongong office.

About you:
To be the successful candidate, you will have:

• Demonstrated skills with both camera operation and editing
• Experience shooting interviews, sport and community activities
• A high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to operate productively in a team environment, contributing positively to our operation and to working relationships
• Ability to contribute ideas, and to demonstrate initiative and flexibility
• Positive work ethic, with ability and willingness to learn new systems
• High level of creativity with the flair to ‘see’ a news story
• Unrestricted drivers licence essential
