Rowan Digital Infrastructure is redefining how data centers are delivered—faster, smarter, and at scale. We partner with hyperscale customers to provide tailored, high-performance infrastructure with a focus on sustainability, efficiency, and flexibility.

Our experienced, end-to-end team delivers custom solutions across a growing portfolio of strategic sites in key markets across the United States. Ready to help transform how the world’s most important technologies are powered? Join us.

Rowan Digital Infrastructure is seeking an Energy Strategy Analyst to support the execution of energy strategy across our growing portfolio of data center developments. This role will serve as a key analytical partner to the Energy team, helping to identify, evaluate, and enable power solutions that support site selection, project development, and customer requirements.

The successful candidate will support analysis of power markets, utility environments, and interconnection pathways, and contribute to the development of strategies that align with Rowan’s capacity, reliability, and sustainability objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, comfort working across multiple markets, and the ability to translate complex information into clear insights that inform decision-making.

In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and support engagements with utilities and external partners. The right candidate is detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and motivated to build expertise in the technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects of powering large-scale infrastructure.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 10–15% for company gatherings or to project sites

Location: Denver, CO or Seattle, WA (hybrid in-office role preferred)

Compensation: $115,000-$135,000 + Bonus

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of energy strategies that enable delivery of power infrastructure for new data center campuses

  • Conduct analysis of power markets, utility territories, and grid infrastructure to inform siting and development decisions; leverage third party siting tools to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Support evaluation of load interconnection pathways, including timelines, risks, and cost drivers across utilities

  • Develop analytical models to estimate cost of power, infrastructure requirements, and key commercial considerations across markets

  • Compile and maintain insights on utility processes, transmission constraints, substation capacity, and generation buildout

  • Track market activity, including hyperscaler and developer expansion, and monitor regulatory and tariff developments impacting large loads

  • Support cross-functional teams in project diligence, site evaluation, and energy-related decision-making

  • Prepare clear, structured materials and insights to support internal strategy discussions and external engagements

Education, Skills, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, economics, finance, business, or similar)

1–4 years of experience in energy markets, utilities, infrastructure, consulting, or a related analytical field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel (Python or similar tools a plus)

Ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems and communicate insights clearly and concisely

Interest in power markets, grid infrastructure, and large-scale energy use cases such as data centers

Experience working across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Familiarity with U.S. power markets, utility rate structures, or interconnection processes
