We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy & Power Team. This role will be based in Bogota, Colombia This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office

The Energy & Power Specialist, LAC will support the commercial strategy and business growth for Marsh’s Energy & Power practice across Latin America. The role will contribute to building and maintaining commercial relationships with country offices, support new business and renewals, monitor and manage the regional pipeline, and help ensure profitable, compliant delivery of services in coordination with local teams.

We will count on you to:

  • Support the development and execution of the commercial growth plan for Energy & Power across LATAM, aligned with global and regional targets.
  • Act as the primary commercial liaison between the regional Energy & Power practice and Marsh country offices, ensuring alignment on strategy, opportunities and client coverage.
  • Support country offices in local business development, client pitches, and complex negotiations.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing, best practices and capability building across country teams.
  • Maintain and monitor the regional sales pipeline. Track opportunities, staging, expected close dates and revenue exposure.
  • Coordinate cross-border opportunities and manage communication between broking, and specialty teams.
  • Lead renewal strategy for key accounts and complex placements to maximize retention and margin.
  • Ensure proactive renewal engagement with clients and country teams, addressing pricing, coverage changes and competitor threats.
  • Build strong internal relationships with Marsh Rr Fac, Claims, GERE, Risk Consulting, Compliance and Finance to enable holistic client solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of LATAM Energy & Power market dynamics, regulatory changes and competitor activity.
  • Represent Marsh in client forums, industry events and conferences as required.
  • Number of cross-border wins and incremental revenue from country office collaboration

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of commercial experience in insurance/broking, risk management or energy sector; demonstrable track record in Energy & Power preferred.
  • Prior regional or multi-country commercial responsibility strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing pipelines, renewals and complex negotiations across jurisdictions.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a strong plus.
