What the job is:

CPI is looking for someone who has the ability to lead teams at multiple locations ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, expense control and managing operating costs.  The Energy Operations Coordinator will coordinate bulk plant maintenance and SPCC records and compliance, schedule, document, maintain truck maintenance and inspection records and collaborate with Operations Managers in planning, developing, and implementing CPI’s policies and goals.  In addition, the EOC will analyze and resolve work problems, assist staff in various tasks and be responsible for the compliance at multiple locations regarding government regulations and safety. 

This position will oversee CPI's southern area and be headquartered out of the CPI Nelson location.  
  • High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or related experience and/or training is required. 
  • Minimum of two or more years related management experience and/or training. 
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A CDL) with HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements. 
  • Propane Delivery required courses.
  • The ability to sit, stand, stoop, crawl, climb, crouch balance kneel, walk, and work on a cash register for a prolonged period of time is required.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, lift, push or pull up to 100-pounds of weight at any one given time is essential.
  • Comfortable working around and being exposed to moving parts, fumes, airborne particles and chemicals is required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Responsible for delivering superior customer service that creates customer loyalty and retention. 
  • Strong business acumen including time management, planning, organization, and decision-making skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 
  • Efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations.
