Premier Cooperative is seeking a motivated and results-driven Energy Location Manager to lead our Mt. Horeb energy site, including oversight of our retail convenience store operations. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, leading a team, and ensuring excellent service, safety, and financial performance.
Position Overview
The Energy Location Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Mt. Horeb energy location and convenience store, ensuring efficient operations, strong customer service, and profitability. This role provides hands-on leadership to employees while coordinating energy services, retail sales, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Leadership
- Manage and oversee all daily operations of the Mt. Horeb energy location and C-store
- Lead, train, schedule, and develop employees to ensure strong performance and teamwork
- Establish clear expectations and maintain a positive, high-accountability work environment
- Ensure proper staffing coverage across energy and retail operations
Energy Location Oversight
- Ensure safe, efficient delivery and service of propane, refined fuels, and related energy products
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply and deliveries
- Maintain equipment, fleet, and facility standards
- Ensure compliance with all safety, DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations
Convenience Store Management
- Oversee all C-store operations including sales, merchandising, and customer service
- Maintain compliance with regulations related to fuel, food, and retail operations
Customer & Community Focus
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Build strong relationships with local customers and represent the cooperative in the community
- Promote energy products and retail offerings to grow business
Financial & Inventory Management
- Monitor sales, margins, expenses, and inventory levels
- Ensure accurate invoicing, inventory tracking, and reporting of location performance
- Support budgeting and cost control efforts for the location

Qualifications- Leadership or management experience in energy, retail, agriculture, or related field
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead a team, manage operations, and make sound decisions
- Experience with inventory, scheduling, and financial performance management
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence
