– Energy Efficiency Specialist

Position Title: Energy Efficiency Specialist
Experience Required: 12+ Years
Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Preferred: Post-Graduation in relevant discipline with BEE Certification

The Energy Efficiency Specialist will be responsible for providing technical expertise in planning, assessment, and implementation of energy efficiency measures for buildings and infrastructure systems. The role involves conducting energy audits, identifying energy-saving opportunities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting sustainable engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct energy audits of buildings, utilities, and engineering systems to identify energy-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Review and recommend energy-efficient technologies, systems, and operational practices.
• Ensure compliance of energy efficiency initiatives with applicable standards, codes, regulations, and certifications.
• Carry out cost-benefit analysis and lifecycle assessment of proposed energy conservation measures.
• Prepare technical reports, audit findings, recommendations, and implementation strategies.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders for execution of energy efficiency initiatives.
• Monitor performance of implemented measures and recommend corrective actions for optimization.
• Support sustainability and green building initiatives related to energy management.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of energy auditing and energy management systems.
• Familiarity with BEE guidelines, ECBC, and relevant energy efficiency standards.
• Experience in HVAC systems, electrical systems, lighting, and utility optimization.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with capability to evaluate technical and financial feasibility.
• Proficiency in preparation of technical documentation and presentations.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in infrastructure, buildings, urban development, or industrial projects.
• Exposure to sustainability and green building projects will be preferred.
