We are looking for an Energy Efficiency Engineer to join our Head Office based in La Défense

(Paris area) or Saint-Herblain (Nantes area), France.

Join a dynamic team: Within the Research Department of our Technical Direction, you will join a team dedicated to ship energy modeling, with a strong focus on the development of our in-house tool: SEECAT.

Your main missions:

  • Contribute to the development, improvement, and maintenance of SEECAT,
  • Manage and carry out technical studies within the framework of international R&D projects,
  • Provide technical support to teams conducting client studies,
  • Support the promotion, training, and business development of SEECAT,
  • Contribute to the evolution of our energy efficiency analysis offering.

Your strengths to succeed:

You hold an engineering degree or a PhD and are looking to build a technical career with concrete applications in maritime energy efficiency.

You have knowledge in one or more of the following fields: energy systems, propulsion, electrical engineering, thermodynamics, or naval hydrodynamics.

With a strong interest in programming (ideally Modelica), you are able to leverage your technical skills to develop tools for analysis and simulation of marine energy systems, and you have 3 to 5 years of experience in these areas.

You demonstrate strong writing and interpersonal skills.

You are rigorous, curious, and a team player, with a desire to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, enabling you to interact effectively with our international network and clients.

You are eager to evolve in a fast-changing environment, particularly driven by environmental challenges.
