Mid-Level Energy Efficiency Engineer Remote | Colorado, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania

What You'll Do
- Lead technical evaluations and support energy efficiency programs for commercial and industrial clients
- Conduct onsite and virtual inspections to verify installations, collect data, and deploy metering equipment
- Perform energy and peak demand savings calculations using industry-standard tools and methodologies
- Analyze energy performance for new construction and LEED-certified projects
- Support QA/QC reviews, benefit-cost analyses, and program evaluations
- Research emerging technologies, funding opportunities, and best practices in energy efficiency
- Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
- Coordinate regularly with internal engineering staff, project managers, and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred
- 3–8 years of experience in energy efficiency consulting, construction, lighting, HVAC, or as a field technician
- Experience with engineering analytics, cost analysis, and statistical/regression methods
- Experience with energy modeling software (eQUEST, Trane TRACE, or similar)
- Familiarity with industrial and manufacturing processes
- Strong QA/QC background
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable in a remote work environment
- Detail-oriented self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle; ~25% domestic travel required
