Job Description

The Energy Efficiency Analyst supports performance and internal coordination of Georgia Power’s regulated Commercial and Residential energy efficiency and demand response programs. This role requires collaboration with internal teams (Energy Solutions, Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, Technology, etc.) and external vendors.

The Analyst provides support for the energy efficiency and demand response programs through coordination of internal communications, development of program materials and documentation, reporting requests, and maintenance of program resources and processes. The role assists in organizing and communicating program, operational, and performance-related information to support internal stakeholders and leadership. Additionally, the Analyst serves as a backup for select financial management activities and contributes to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and support effective program delivery.

This role requires routine in‑person work at Georgia Power Corporate Headquarters (241 Ralph McGill Blvd, Atlanta, GA). It is acceptable to call the Hiring Manager to ask questions until the posting closes.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Support Program Managers and Energy Efficiency leadership in implementing the portfolio of the Georgia Public Service Commission certified Commercial and Residential energy efficiency and demand response programs.
  2. Develop and maintain processes, analyses, dashboards and insights, including data quality control and purchase order management.
  3. Provide support for portfolio budget tracking and reconciliation activities, including monthly accruals and forecast support, in coordination with Energy Efficiency, Finance, Budgeting, and Supply Chain.
  4. Serve as a facilitator to complete ad hoc internal, regulatory, contractor, or stakeholder requests by providing timely, accurate program information and implementation support.
  5. Manage an on‑demand print and fulfillment platform enabling employees and contractors to order approved Energy Efficiency marketing materials and field apparel, supporting consistent program representation and operational efficiency.
  6. Support internal communications, documentation, and resources that enable program implementation, governance, and cross‑functional alignment while driving continuous process improvement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

  • 4-year accredited degree preferred with additional consideration given for relevant industry certifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Preferred Experience/Knowledge:

  • Understanding of Energy Efficiency programs, including incentives, administrative costs, marketing enablement, and analytics
  • 0-2+ years of marketing and communications
  • Experience supporting program financial tracking including accruals
  • General understanding of Company operations, regulatory requirements, and internal governance processes
  • Experience collaborating with procurement, contracting, and vendor management processes
  • Experience with Power BI, Adobe platforms and various analytics tools.
  • Education or experience in analytics, finance, accounting, marketing, or a related field

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to research, evaluate, and synthesize large datasets
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including the ability to develop internal communications and executive‑level materials
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong planning, coordination, and relationship‑building skills to effectively partner across teams
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear and actionable insights

  • Willingness to travel in state and nationally as required
