Senior Associate Litigation & Regulatory – Amsterdam

Our Amsterdam office is growing quickly, and we are looking for a Senior Associate Litigation & Regulatory who wants to further develop their career in an international environment. With around 35 colleagues and 7 partners, we are building our brand-new office in Amsterdam and are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial Senior Associate to join our team.

Background

Pinsent Masons is an international law firm with its roots in the United Kingdom. Three years ago, Pinsent Masons opened its Amsterdam office. Since then, the office has grown rapidly both in the number of practice groups and in size. This growth recently led to a move to a beautiful, sustainable new location next to the RAI and close to the Amstel.

The Litigation & Regulatory Practice

The Litigation & Regulatory (L&R) practice at Pinsent Masons focuses primarily on:

• international corporate litigation (such as joint venture disputes)
• commercial litigation, including international construction and infrastructure projects involving EPC-related disputes

• work related to restructuring and ESG

The practice is currently led by one partner who collaborates with international teams of varying composition. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a new Senior Associate who is enthusiastic about helping further develop the L&R practice in Amsterdam.

Who we are looking for

• You are a driven, ambitious Associate with 5 to 10 years of experience in a litigation practice
• You are a qualified lawyer with strong knowledge of Dutch law
• You have excellent command of both Dutch and English
• You have strong analytical skills, persuasive ability and outstanding writing skills
• You have solid legal expertise and a commercial mindset, and you are motivated to help further grow the practice in close collaboration with the L&R partner
• You enjoy contributing ideas on how to structure and improve workflows and support the ongoing professionalisation of our practice
