Job Description


The Ends Electrical (shift) is responsible for the electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment within the can ends manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal operational efficiency during their assigned shift.
Job Responsibilities:
* Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems, motors, controls, and associated components in accordance with schedules and procedures.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in production machinery, including PLC systems, sensors, drives, and control circuits.
* Execute timely and effective repairs to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow.
* Install, modify, and upgrade electrical equipment as required, adhering to safety standards and electrical codes.
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
* Collaborate with production and mechanical teams to resolve complex technical issues.
* Adhere to all company safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
* Participate in training programs to enhance electrical knowledge and skills.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding equipment status and potential issues.

Job Qualifications:
* Technical degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electrician, or a related field.
* Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing or packaging environment.
* Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
* Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
* Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to electrical work.
* Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively and efficiently.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
