Join our
Endpoint Security Engineering
team as a
Tanium Administrator/Engineer/Senior Consultant
and play a key role in strengthening the organization’s endpoint security and compliance posture. You will be responsible for the
deployment, configuration, management, and optimization
of the
Tanium platform
and its associated modules across a large-scale enterprise environment.

This role requires a hands-on professional with deep technical expertise in
Tanium administration
, endpoint management, and scripting for automation, who can collaborate effectively with
security, infrastructure, and compliance teams
to drive enterprise-level visibility, remediation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration & Deployment

• 
  Deploy, configure, and maintain the
  Tanium platform
  across all enterprise endpoints (Windows, Mac, Linux).

• 
  Oversee installation, upgrades, and health monitoring of Tanium components (servers, relays, clients).

• 
  Maintain optimal performance, scalability, and availability of the Tanium environment.

Module Configuration & Management

• 
  Implement, configure, and manage
  Tanium modules
  such as:

  • 
    Deploy, Patch, Comply, Enforce, Discover, Reveal, Performance, Integrity Monitor, Threat Response
    , and
    Asset
    .

• 
  Ensure module integration aligns with enterprise security and compliance requirements.

• 
  Automate workflows and policies for patch management, compliance baselines, and endpoint configuration enforcement.

Automation & Scripting

• 
  Develop and maintain
  custom sensors, packages, actions, and SBOM reports
  to support visibility, compliance, and remediation.

• 
  Use scripting languages such as
  PowerShell, Python, or WMI
  for automation, data collection, and operational efficiency.

• 
  Integrate Tanium data and events with SIEM, ITSM, and reporting platforms as needed.

Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Optimization

• 
  Monitor Tanium console activities, investigate anomalies, and resolve platform or endpoint-related issues.

• 
  Conduct root cause analysis for Tanium agent communication or performance issues.

• 
  Regularly assess and optimize Tanium policies, dashboards, and query performance.

Collaboration & Governance

• 
  Partner with
  Security Operations, Endpoint Engineering, IT Infrastructure, and Compliance
  teams to enhance threat detection, patch compliance, and system hygiene.

• 
  Support vulnerability and compliance audits with accurate endpoint data and reporting.

• 
  Participate in incident response, remediation, and post-incident review activities where Tanium data contributes to root cause identification.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• 
  Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation covering configuration standards, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.

• 
  Stay abreast of
  Tanium platform updates, security best practices, and endpoint management trends
  to proactively recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 
  5+ years
  of experience in endpoint management, with
  3+ years of direct Tanium platform administration
  in a medium-to-large enterprise.

• 
  Hands-on expertise with
  multiple Tanium modules
  , ideally including: Deploy, Patch, Comply, Enforce, Discover, Reveal, Asset, Integrity Monitor, and Threat Response.

• 
  Strong experience with
  Windows
  , and working knowledge of
  macOS and Linux
  endpoints.

• 
  Proficiency in scripting using
  PowerShell, Python, or WMI
  for automation and data collection.

• 
  Understanding of
  endpoint security, patch compliance, configuration baselines, and incident response processes.

• 
  Familiarity with
  Active Directory, GPOs, SCCM, MDM, or similar endpoint management systems.

• 
  Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills for identifying and resolving endpoint and platform issues.

• 
  Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  Tanium Certified Operator (TCO)
  ,
  Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA)
  , or higher certifications.

• 
  Experience integrating Tanium with
  SIEM, ITSM, or CMDB
  tools.

• 
  Exposure to
  cybersecurity frameworks
  (NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001).

• 
  Experience with
  cloud environments
  (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid endpoint management scenarios.

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
