STATEMENT
The Endpoint Management Engineer role is responsible for Engineering, building, and maintaining a secure, stable, and optimally performing endpoint (PCs and virtual desktops) environment across our corporate enterprise; applying proven communication, analytical, and problem solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve highly advanced complex issues in support of business processing requirements.
MAJOR DUTIES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Functions:
• Engineer technology solutions for clients (both internal and external) and participate in testing and evaluation of new technologies to ensure
compatibility and functionality
• Review and approve changes and technical solutions as generated by both junior and senior level technicians
• Support and seek continuous improvement of systems and processes, as well as generate innovative approaches and solutions to recurring tasks
or trending issues
• Ensure key IT Objectives are met timely while maintaining compliance, budget requirements and resource allocations
• Create automated processes to increase efficiencies in a large enterprise environment
• Engineer and support operations for the Endpoint Management infrastructure utilizing tools which include (but not limited to):
o Basic understanding of virtual desktop environments using cloud-based solutions.
o Familiarity with user and access management through Active Directory and related tools.
o Knowledgeable and core understanding of using SCCM for system updates and patch management.
o Foundation in PowerShell and scripting languages for automating routine tasks.
o Experience with managing devices using MS Intune.
o Awareness of web content filtering technology for cloud security.
o Proficiency in Windows OS support and troubleshooting.
o Understanding of Thinscale for thin client management.
o Basic management of Proxy Auto-Config files for network configuration.
o Experience with Group Policy Management for Policy Enforcement.
o Understanding the Distributed File System for efficient file sharing across networks, Awareness of Verint for workforce optimization.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Design, create and maintain stable and efficient endpoint images and builds, Create and maintain software deployment packages.
• Effective management of work ticket queue for timely and appropriate action on assigned tickets.
• Lead in the investigation of incidents/problems within the IT Infrastructure environment and identify resolution of issues.
• Design and create reports within management systems (SCCM, A/V, etc.) to support decision making activities (licensing, patch and vulnerability,
asset management, agent health, etc.)
• Serve as an escalation point for technical issues at the team level.
• Assist in driving efficient team operation by evaluating and recommending support tools.
• Communicate effectively with all levels including both technical and non-technical staff, internal and external.
• Implements and maintain endpoint security measures and compliance to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Performs infrastructure change activity and ensures conformance to change policies and procedures.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations relating to job duties.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency and/or business critical incidents.
• Perform other duties assigned by management/leadership.

Strong foundational communication/soft skills for user support and documentation.
Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and ticketing and reporting tool ServiceNow as needed on a daily basis.
Level of supervisory responsibility is limited to direction of scheduling/monitoring work performed.
Percentage of time that this position travels including % of international time required is less than 10%.

High School Diploma or GED – Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience – Required
Business Administration or related field – Required
