
Position: Endoscopy Technician
Department: Endoscopy
Schedule: 40 Hours (7am-3:30pm), On-Call Required
The Endoscopy Technician acts as the primary assistant at the field, assisting the Endoscopist performing the endoscopy procedure on patients of all ages.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly.
Customizes to a variety of needs specific to impairments, such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse.
Incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our value statement, mission statement, code of ethics, and patient responsibilities into the performance of job responsibilities.
On-call required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Certifications: BLS
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience
Knowledge + Skills: Must have working knowledge with scopes in the upper and lower GI tact and experience working with GI Physician. Exemplary interpersonal skills and the ability to perform as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, instilling a positive cohesive spirit to ensure customer satisfaction.
Compensation Range:
$19.66- $29.22
This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
