Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Endodontist Specialist to join our growing dental organization. The Endodontist will provide high-quality specialized endodontic care, including diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and surrounding tissues.
This is a clinical role within a 7-day-a-week dental organization. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care while working collaboratively with general dentists, specialty providers, and office teams to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Compensation
- 42% of collections flat rate compensation
- Compensation is based on applicable collection structure established by the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and periapical tissues.
- Perform root canal therapy and other appropriate endodontic procedures.
- Evaluate patients referred for endodontic treatment and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform surgical and non-surgical endodontic procedures as clinically indicated.
- Diagnose complex dental pain and determine whether endodontic treatment is appropriate.
- Review diagnostic imaging, including X-rays and 3D imaging when applicable.
- Provide emergency endodontic care when needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete clinical records and treatment documentation.
- Provide appropriate post-operative instructions and follow-up care.
- Refer patients to other dental or medical specialists when treatment falls outside the scope of endodontic care.
Patient Experience
- Deliver compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care.
- Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.
- Educate patients regarding recommended treatment and oral health.
- Establish trust and rapport with patients and their families.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and patient communication.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Work closely with general dentists and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate effectively with referring providers regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and office teams to ensure efficient clinical operations.
- Support a positive, professional, and team-oriented office environment.
- Participate in case discussions and provide clinical guidance when appropriate.
Clinical Standards & Compliance
- Maintain the highest standards of clinical care, safety, and infection control.
- Follow all applicable federal, state, and local dental regulations.
- Maintain required licenses, certifications, and continuing education.
- Follow organizational clinical policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy regulations.
- Stay current with advances in endodontic techniques, technology, materials, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited Endodontic residency/specialty program.
- Current and unrestricted dental license in the state of practice.
- Appropriate state and federal controlled-substance registrations, if applicable.
- Current malpractice coverage as required by the organization.
- Strong clinical skills in both surgical and non-surgical endodontics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong patient management and treatment-planning abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with general dentists, specialists, assistants, and administrative teams.
- Experience in a busy, multi-provider dental environment preferred.
Schedule & Availability
We are a 7-day-a-week dental business, and our specialists are expected to support patient access throughout the week.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Holiday availability is required.
- Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business and patient needs.
- Flexibility in scheduling is important to support patient demand and specialty access.
