We are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Endocrinologist to join our growing team. This physician will provide comprehensive clinical care across inpatient and outpatient settings, while also contributing to teaching, program development, and scholarly activities. The role offers the opportunity to help expand specialty services and support the organization’s academic mission.
Teaching
• Provide curriculum endocrinology lectures for medical residents/students (in collaboration with Chief of Division up to 3 per year)
• Supervise/teach medical residents on elective Endocrine rotation (schedule permitting)
• Participate in Grand Rounds
• Provide educational lectures to physicians/nursing staff/community
Clinical
• Provide consultative endocrine services (include written report to referring physician) in the Wayne/Paterson campus on rotating basis in collaboration with other Endocrinology physicians on staff
• Provide inpatient endocrinology consultation for unassigned patients and private patients
• May serve as collaborating physician for APN
• Attending Physician at office-based practice
Program Development
• Develop hospital-based outpatient practice
• Strive to develop specialty endocrinology program (e.g., diabetes service, metabolic center, thyroid care center etc.)
Research/Scholarly Activities
• Collaborate with Chief of Endocrinology and Metabolism and medical residents to develop and/or participate in research projects
