About the Role

As part of the Service Desk team, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, remote troubleshooting, triage, resolution and escalating issues when required. Acting as the face of Canon Business Services within the customer environment, you will deliver exceptional service, resolve technical issues and ensure a seamless technology experience for users. You will work across both remote and onsite support, helping maintain a secure, reliable and productive workplace technology environment. The role will operate from our South Melbourne office and require visiting customer sites in Hawthorn, Moorabbin.

Scope of the Role

  • Providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals and workplace technologies
  • Delivering onsite and remote support while meeting agreed service levels and customer expectations
  • Managing incidents, requests and service activities through ServiceNow
  • Administering Microsoft 365 environments and supporting user access, accounts and workplace productivity services
  • Supporting Microsoft Intune-managed devices, application deployments, compliance policies and endpoint management
  • Troubleshooting and supporting Windows 11 endpoint environments
  • Assisting with Entra ID (Azure AD) user and device management activities
  • Managing device deployment, asset lifecycle and hardware replacement activities
  • Building strong relationships with customer stakeholders and end users
  • Identifying service improvement opportunities and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

About you

This role requires a blend of strong customer service capability and solid technical foundations, with the confidence to operate in a fast‑paced managed services environment. Success in this position requires a genuine customer‑first mindset, a broad technical skill set and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. You will need to be organised, detail oriented and proactive in your approach to problem solving. Possessing hands on experience with Intune and Kandji MDM for cross-platform device is highly essential. Key Skills and Experience include:

  • Demonstrated experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 IT support in a corporate or Managed Services environment
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration and user support experience
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune endpoint management and modern device management practices
  • Strong Windows 11 troubleshooting and support skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity management concepts
  • Experience supporting endpoint security, compliance and device management policies
  • ServiceNow or similar ITSM platform experience
  • Excellent customer service, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience supporting enterprise end-user environments
  • ITIL Foundation, Microsoft certifications or Managed Services experience will be highly regarded
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government NV1 Security Clearance is advantageous
