We are looking for an Intern in Product Management that has a strong enthusiasm for the Aviation Industry, reliability and is curious about data analytics

As an Intern within Product Management, you will play a role in shaping the next chapter of our reliability capabilities. You will work on our SPEC2000 chapter 11 export modules, getting them to the next level as well as work with Lufthansa Technik’s digital Tech Ops Ecosystem to build the next generation of KPIs that should be measured ensuring our customers full transparency on Aircraft Operability and Availability.

Tasks

  • Asses the current SPEC2000 chapter 11 coverage of AMOS

  • Produce a clear, structured document detailing changes and their impact on AMOS.

  • Map relevant AMOS business fields (APNs) to updated SPEC2000 data elements.

  • Research and outline KPIs related to Aircraft Operability (e.g., TDR → Availability → Operability).

  • Propose drill-down structures and data sources for operability analytics.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Student in aviation engineering, computer science, or a related discipline

  • Interest in aviation maintenance, MRO software, or related industries is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of data structure (XML, JSON etc.)

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to deep dive into complex topics, doing research on business documents and translate results into comprehensive information for inter-disciplinary stakeholders.

  • Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal, skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
