ENCORE Education Assistant

Columbia Heights Public Schools is hiring Education Assistants for our after-school ENCORE programming. This posting is for those who are interested in committing to the full year of ENCORE programming. ENCORE semester 1 begins the week of October 21 at CA and NPSfI and October 28 at HL and VV.

  • Locations: CA, NPSfI, VV, and, HL (please indicate location preference)
  • Days:
  • Wednesday: Highland and Columbia Academy
  • Wednesday and Thursday: North Park and Valley View
  • Rate: $24.20-$25.63
  • Dates: According to ENCORE calendar
  • Schedule:
  • HL/VV/NP hours: 2:15-2:45, 30 minutes timecarded
  • CA hours: 3:15-3:45, 30 minutes timecarded

Major responsibilities:

  • Duties: This position assists at the end of the school day when there is ENCORE programming. This position works with other ENCORE staff to assist with snack distribution and supervising students as they transition from the school day to the ENCORE program in the gym and/or cafeteria.

Interviews will not be held for this position.
