frameworks which strengthen our Governance, Strategy and Risk practices while
ensuring our radically decentralised and highly collaborative ways of working
can flourish.

About the Role

Chorus is on the journey from traditional service provision toward becoming
a community connecting organisation. As part of this transition, we need strengthen
the foundational systems that help our organisation steward risk, plan
strategy, and meet our compliance obligations.

As our Enabling Partner – Governance, Strategy & Risk you will play a key role in bringing structure,
clarity and follow-through to how we plan, manage risk & compliance and
deliver on our strategy.

You’ll work across teams to support strong governance, coordinate initiatives
and help ensure we meet our obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide planning, tracking, coordination, and hands on facilitation and support across the Governance, Strategy and Risk functions.
  • Coordinate and support the annual strategic planning cycle
  • Provide Board, Governance and compliance support
  • Support Business continuity planning
  • Drive alignment, accountability and follow-through across key initiatives

  • Governance, Strategy, and Risk teams are meeting commitments.
  • The annual strategic planning processes are clear, aligned and effective.
  • Governance and risk projects are delivered.
  • Business continuity, risk and compliance practices are embedded across the organisation.

About You

You bring strong governance, strategy, or risk management experience.

Confidence working with a range of stakeholders.

A calm, structured approach with the ability to translate complexity into practical action.

Strong organisational and delivery capability, with a focus on outcomes.

Adaptability in applying tools, frameworks and ways of thinking.

Why This Role Is Fixed-Term

Over the next 24 months, we need concentrated capability to stabilise
governance, deliver strategy squad milestones, embed cyber and risk management
foundations, and build sustainable capability.

Suits part time 3 to 4 days per week

24 month fixed term

Full Time Annual salary approximately $120k gross (pro-rata for Part-Time)

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville. Together, we are committed to improving the health outcomes for children today and in the future.

In 2016–17, more than 85,654 children attended our Emergency Department, 322,291 specialist clinic appointments were held which was almost 70,000 more than the previous year, more than 17,000 surgeries were performed and more than 48,552 children were admitted to our wards.
