We provide ALS, BLS, and Critical Care Transport services across multiple states, operate on federal contracts, and respond across the nation to wildland fire incidents; There is frequently, always something new and exciting coming up to broaden your EMS experience!

We are seeking team focused, dedicated healthcare professionals to serve at our Omaha and Aurora stations in EMT, Paramedic or CCT capacity - 12, 24, 36 or 48 hour shifts;

The pay (full-time)

• EMT: $50,000–$55,000 per year
• Paramedic: $65,000–$75,000 per year
• Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) and Flight Paramedic (FP-C) credentials earn a higher rate.
• Overtime is paid as required by law and built into how our shifts are structured.
• Part-time is paid hourly, with competitive rates for both EMTs and Paramedics.

Extra money on top

• $150 extra per shift when you pick up coverage on less than 7 days' notice.
• $250 to you and $250 to your friend when you refer someone who joins full-time.

Your schedule, your call

• 12-hour shifts: three per week
• 24-hour shifts: two per week
• 48-hour blocks: work 48, then take 96 hours off. Four days off in a row, every rotation.
• Full-time: 36–48 hours per week
• Part-time: as little as 72 hours per month
• PRN: as little as 168 hours per quarter. It fits around school, a fire department, or a second career.

Where it can take you

• Wildland fire medicine. Our Station 13 team deploys on USDA Forest Service fire assignments across the West, and Nebraska crews can join.
• Five states, seven stations - lots of opportunity: Want a change of scenery, travel to Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Montana, or Arizona to work a few shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Nebraska EMT or Paramedic license (or eligible)
• Current CPR certification
• Age 21+, with a valid, clean driver's license and at least 2 years of driving experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, DOT physical, and physical ability exam
• A good attitude, clinical pride, and a real liking for your partner
