The EMT1‑P reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for developing a robust preventive maintenance (PM) program using MaintainX to improve asset reliability across the facility. In addition, this individual must have the technical capability to perform maintenance tasks and projects assigned by the Maintenance Manager. They will also be able to train other technicians on task execution when needed to support achieving a 95% PM completion rate.
This role must comply with all safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards. The EMT1‑P is responsible for improving workforce reliability, reducing scrap, enhancing equipment quality and productivity, and extending the life of facility infrastructure, including air compressors, chillers, pumps, plumbing, and air‑conditioning systems.
The position focuses on eliminating potential delays through effective planning and coordination of labor, parts, materials, and equipment access. Serving as the liaison between Operations and Maintenance, the EMT1‑P ensures proper planning, scheduling, and coordination of all plannable maintenance work within the facility.
The EMT1‑P is also responsible for maintaining records and files necessary for meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance activities in alignment with ISO/SQF requirements. All outside vendor scheduling and related work will be managed through this role. Purchasing responsibilities will also be included.
