EMT / Paramedic – CAREonsite

Make an Impact on a Major Gas Generating Station Construction Project

CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, provides occupational medical services to employers and their workforces nationwide. We are seeking motivated, experienced EMTs and Paramedics to support the health and safety of workers on a major gas generating station construction project.

This is an exciting opportunity to take your emergency medical experience into a dynamic industrial construction environment. As a CAREonsite EMT/Paramedic, you will provide on-site medical support to a large construction workforce while working closely with site safety leadership, employees, contractors, and healthcare providers.

You’ll play an important role in responding to injuries and illnesses, providing immediate medical care, identifying potential health and safety concerns, and helping maintain a safe work environment throughout the construction project.

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Weekends Required
• Pay: $25–$30 per hour
• Work Environment: Large-scale gas generating station construction site

What You’ll Do

• Respond promptly and professionally to workplace medical emergencies and injuries.
• Provide first aid, emergency medical care, and treatment within your scope of practice.
• Assess and triage workplace injuries and illnesses and determine the appropriate level of care.
• Communicate with physicians, medical facilities, EMS, and other healthcare professionals when additional treatment or direction is needed.
• Work closely with employees, contractors, client representatives, and site safety personnel following workplace incidents.
• Maintain awareness of the constantly changing construction environment and identify potential health and safety concerns.
• Support the site safety team in promoting a safe work environment and preventing workplace injuries.
• Maintain a high standard of clinical care while following applicable federal, state, local, and company requirements.
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, referrals, and follow-up recommendations.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and response activities as needed.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service in all interactions.

What We’re Looking For

• Current EMT or Paramedic license/certification applicable to the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of emergency medical experience.
• 911 EMS experience is required.
• Experience in an ER, industrial, occupational health, construction, or other emergency care setting is a plus.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Comfortable working in an active industrial construction environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with safety teams, contractors, and client leadership.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to accurately document patient care.
• Professional, dependable, safety-minded, and adaptable.
