
Baptist Health is looking for a EMS Dispatcher to join our team in Louisville, KY
The position of EMS Dispatcher is responsible for communications with Baptist Health EMS Ambulance Service crews for patients requiring transportation services to and/or from a Baptist Healthcare facility. They maintain overall accuracy and expediency of collating documentation. They must maintain current knowledge of EPIC software along with specialized products related to EMS patient care reporting. This position is responsible for the integrity of data regarding the System Service Center EMS Dispatch Center. They must practice outstanding skill at protecting PHI and have exemplary communication and prioritization skills.
Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED required, EMT education preferred.
· Minimum of 1 year prior dispatch/communication experience required
· Working knowledge and use of MS Office products
· Must obtain Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist (CADS) within 1 year from hire date
