Job Description:
The Employment Operations & Records unit of UF Human Resources is responsible for all electronic transactions that support the hiring and employment changes during the lifecycle of UF employees. As part of this team, the Employment Specialist I works in partnership with UF departments to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of employment-related actions while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
Essential functions
Responsible for evaluating and approving employment transactions for faculty, staff, and temporary employees.
Collaborates and guides departmental administrators on how to resolve issues and ensure ePAFs are processed timely.
Ensures employment transactions are accurately recorded in the myUFL system and does light troubleshooting if an issue is identified.
Provides quality customer service by responding to requests via email and phone related to employment verifications, system troubleshooting, OnBase requests, public records, and payroll inquiries; in addition to participating in departmental training initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
Expected Salary:
$19.16/hour
