Job Shift: Days, JOB PURPOSE:
The Employment Services Career Readiness Instructor is responsible for instructing learners in
job readiness and Pre-Employment Transition Services within contracted schools according to
Endeavors Unlimited Job Supportive Services educational programming. The Employment
Services Career Readiness Instructor will identify and develop optimal employment opportunities
for vulnerable individuals, while providing support to clients and empowering them to obtain and
maintain employment.
Qualifications: ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrate Exceptional customer service, in Everything you do, by placing the child, family, Veteran or client first to support our mission to "Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities."
EDUCATION: Undergraduate degree in special education, or related field from an accredited college or university.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience. Minimum 2 years of experience working with students in a classroom environment.
ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.
LICENSES: Teaching license in special education held within the last 5 years. Driver’s License with clear record.
VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.
OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
