Department: Employment Rights
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Birmingham
Compensation: £41,977 - £45,137 / year
Join our dynamic team in London, as a Lawyer specialising in Employment Rights. In this role, you'll manage a full caseload, providing expert advice and representation on a range of employment matters. From unfair dismissal to complex discrimination cases, you'll navigate the legal landscape with precision and professionalism. If you're ready to make a real difference in the lives of our clients while advancing your career, we want to hear from you.
This role requires a demonstrated understanding of relevant laws and regulations, particularly within employment rights. You will need to navigate Employment Tribunal (ET) and Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) rules, evidence, and litigation processes effectively. A strong capability to evaluate the likelihood of success and the value of ET claims is essential, as is the skill to calculate special damages and other financial aspects. The role also demands the ability to work efficiently and accurately within tight timelines, while maintaining clear verbal and written communication, including strong drafting and advocacy abilities. Competency in organising and managing case files efficiently is vital, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word, and knowledge of electronic case management systems.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience handling a full caseload, including direct client contact and litigation. An ability to empathise with clients and maintain positive relationships is key, along with a collaborative mindset and the capacity to work effectively as part of a team. The role also calls for a willingness to provide informal guidance to junior staff when required.
We don’t just offer a job—we offer a career with purpose, support, and balance. Our benefits are designed to reward your expertise and support your wellbeing.
