Summary

Employment Programs Interviewer 1 – Harrison County

At WorkForce WV, this position is in the Field Operations unit located in the Clarksburg local office. This position interviews customers to obtain information related to unemployment benefits or job placement and performs data entry to enter unemployment claims, low earning reports, and employment services registrations. Audits low earnings and unemployment applications. Explains unemployment benefits to customers. Processes job orders and follows up with employers. Takes phone calls from customers and employers. Learns about partner agencies and provides referrals. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Training: High school diploma or the equivalent.

AND

Experience: Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment.

OR

Substitution: Successful full-time or equivalent part-time study from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience at a rate of thirty (30) semester hours for every one (1) year of required experience on a year-for-year basis. Vocational school training may be substituted for the required experience at a rate of 1080 clock hours for every one (1) year of required experience on a year-for-year basis.
