- The Employment Program Manager at Goodwill Industries of Central Florida Inc is responsible for overseeing and managing employment programs designed to assist individuals in gaining meaningful employment. This role involves developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that support job seekers in improving their employability skills and securing sustainable employment opportunities. The Employment Program Manager will work closely with community partners, employers, and internal teams to ensure the success and growth of employment initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement employment programs that align with the mission and goals of Goodwill Industries of Central Florida Inc.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing employment programs and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with community partners and employers to create job placement opportunities for program participants.
- Manage a team of employment specialists and provide guidance, training, and support to ensure program objectives are met.
- Monitor program budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective use of funds.
- Prepare and present reports on program outcomes and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay informed about labor market trends and best practices in employment services to enhance program offerings.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that supports diversity and equal opportunity for all participants.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field.
Required

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment program management or a similar role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful employment programs.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.
- Experience in managing teams and collaborating with community partners.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to assess program effectiveness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
