We’ll look to you to deliver excellent service to your portfolio of clients, either through face-to-face meetings or video, telephone and email channels. Through a proactive contact strategy, you’ll be working to really understand their needs and provide them with commercial and profitable advice, while encouraging them to adopt and use Mentor’s digital and self-service channels where appropriate.

We’re looking for someone with a strong customer focus and professional qualifications in Employment Law or HR, CIPD level 5 as a minimum. You’ll have extensive experience in a role relating to employment law, employment relations or HR, and you’ll also have a background in dealing with the provision of advice for complex matters.
We’ll also be looking for you to have:
You’re applying at an exciting time, as we’re in a period of transition for Mentor to move from being a part of NatWest Group to join the Empowering People Group (EPG).
The two organisations’ values are closely aligned, and the synergies in our offerings for customers make this a natural fit and a great partnership opportunity.
Whilst the role you’ve applied for has been advertised by Natwest Group due to Mentor currently being part of this group, and would be to carry out work for the Mentor provision, the employment would in fact be with AdviserPlus Business Solutions, part of EPG, and not with NatWest. EPG terms and conditions and benefits will therefore apply.
EPG is an award-winning business acting for household brands and names you'll be familiar with. They have offices around the UK and provide comprehensive Human Resource (HR) services, along with SRA-regulated employment law expertise and expanding into H&S via the Mentor offering. They’re committed to delivering exceptional HR and H&S solutions and to their customer and colleague experience.

We’re a business that understands when our customers and people succeed, our communities succeed, and our economy thrives. As part of our purpose, we’re looking at how we can drive change for our communities in enterprise, learning and climate.
As one of the leading supporters of UK business, we’re prioritising enterprise as a force of change. We’re focusing on the people and communities who have traditionally faced the highest barriers to entry and figuring out ways to remove these.
Learning is also key to our continued growth as a company in an ever changing and increasingly digital world. By setting a dynamic and leading learning culture, our people prosper, and our customers are given the tools to continue to improve their financial capability and confidence.
One of the biggest challenges we all face in our future is climate change. That’s why we’ve put it right at the core of our purpose. We want to champion climate solutions with financing and entrepreneurial support, fully embed climate into our culture and decision making, and be climate positive by 2025.
We’re committed to using our purpose to break down barriers, drive change and ultimately create a great place to work.
