Job Description

At The Bridge, we believe everyone brings unique strengths, perspectives, and potential.

We’re looking for an Employment Coach Team Leader who’s passionate about supporting people with disability to explore meaningful employment pathways—and who enjoys leading a team in a supportive, down-to-earth way. This role is a great mix of people leadership + hands-on support, where no two days look the same.

You’ll be part of our Your Jobs Now (YJN) team—a group of dedicated, values-driven people who care deeply about creating inclusive employment opportunities. You’ll work closely with the YJN Manager and support a team of Employment Coaches to do their best work.

You’ll split your time between supporting your team and working alongside participants to achieve meaningful employment outcomes.

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and be a go-to support for Employment Coaches, helping coordinate work across locations and keep services running smoothly
  • Support key processes like attendance tracking, service records, NDIS claiming, and related documentation
  • Work alongside participants to explore their goals and build personalised pathways to employment
  • Deliver tailored support such as job search, travel training, workplace support, and employability sessions
  • Connect people with volunteering, work experience, and employment opportunities, and build strong relationships with employers, families, and carers
  • Link participants with additional supports where helpful and follow up on progress
  • Keep documentation up to date, contribute to a positive team culture, and help resolve issues respectfully while ensuring compliance requirements are met

This role will operate between our Dandenong and Greensborough services and require frequent travel between the two sites.

Join an environment where you'll feel valued, supported, and inspired to make a difference with a passionate, supportive team making a real difference every day.

  • Access up to $18,500 in Not-For-Profit Salary Packaging
  • Support your work/life balance with flexible working arrangements
  • An extra day of leave in your birthday month
  • Connect to a range of services with Sonder EAP including counselling, nutritional, medical and financial professionals
  • Maintain your health and wellbeing with discounts to your private health insurance
  • Start your new role with a comprehensive induction and training
  • Be part of a team that cares about your ongoing professional development
  • Opportunities to build your skills and gain new experiences across the organisation

We’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, supported and able to thrive. We warmly welcome people from all backgrounds and life experiences to apply. If you need any assistance or adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know — we’re here to help.
