About the Role

Due to continued program growth, Ironbark is seeking an Employment Advisor to join our Palmerston team. In this role you will contribute to the delivery of government-funded employment programs by providing person-centred case management, support to Jobseekers, and compliance with Workforce Australia requirements. This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of community needs, program compliance, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of Jobseekers.

What you will do

You will manage a caseload of Jobseekers, working closely with each person to understand their strengths and barriers to employment. This includes developing Job Plans and linking Jobseekers to appropriate training and support services to help close skills gaps, address barriers and achieve sustainable employment.

The role also involves maintaining accurate and timely records in the relevant program systems and ensuring all documentation, appointments and referrals meet Workforce Australia guidelines. You will monitor progress, escalate risks early, and work collaboratively with internal teams while staying informed of local labour market trends to support positive employment outcomes.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant experience or qualifications aligned with employment services, case management, or community support.

• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

• An understanding of cultural safety, particularly in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

• Proven ability to work to targets and contract outcomes.

• Strong computer skills and ability to work across digital compliance systems.
