Employer Support Officer

Location – Due to the level of travel required for this role, the homebase location is flexible

Contract Type - Full-Time Fixed Term (6 month contract - 2 vacancies available!)

About the opportunity:

The Employment Support Officer supports the Employer Engagement Coordinator in connecting participants with employment opportunities and achieving positive outcomes for employers and job seekers. The role focuses on screening and meeting with participants, coordinating referrals to vacancies, and providing administrative support throughout the recruitment process.

About You:

  • You are experienced in employment services, recruitment, community services, or a related field.
  • You are skilled at building and maintaining positive relationships with participants, employers, and stakeholders.
  • You are a confident communicator who can engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • You are able to assess participant suitability and support positive employment outcomes.
  • You are organised, with strong administrative skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • You are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and achieving positive outcomes for participants and employers.
  • You are confident using Microsoft Office applications and can quickly learn new systems and databases.
