About the role


As an Employer Solutions Officer (ESO), you’ll be the first point of contact for a portfolio of employer clients, providing high‑quality customer service and administration support This is a highly collaborative, entry‑level role ideal for someone with a strong customer service or telephony support background who enjoys solving problems, communicating clearly, and delivering a great customer experience.
You’ll work closely with the Client Relationship Team, Employer Services Group and internal administration teams to ensure employers receive timely, accurate and seamless support — particularly during onboarding and ongoing administration.
Please note this is a 6-month fixed term contract with a strong view for ongoing work. Must have minimum 6 months full time working rights.

What you’ll be doing day to day

  • Responding to employer queries via phone, email and other channels, delivering excellent customer service at first point of contact
  • Managing employer administration requests and following through to resolution within service standards
  • Proactively monitoring employer accounts to ensure information is accurate, complete and up to date
  • Supporting employer onboarding and engagement activities, including presentations or site visits where required
  • Liaising with internal administration teams to coordinate and complete employer-related tasks
  • Identifying issues, investigating root causes and resolving problems efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing updates and reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Contributing ideas to improve processes, efficiency and the overall employer experience

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in a customer service or telephony‑based support role
  • Strong oral communication skills and a professional phone manner
  • Clear, confident written communication
  • A genuine passion for delivering high‑quality customer service
  • Problem‑solving ability and confidence handling enquiries or issues
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A willingness to learn and an interest in the superannuation or financial services industry
