Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Employer Relations team with planning, advertising, and executing virtual and in-person events and programs (i.e. Career Fairs, Display Tables, On-Campus Recruiting), ensuring strong communication strategies are in place to attract both employers and students.
- Oversee front office operations, ensuring excellent customer service, professionalism, and support for office staff.
- Supervise and mentor a team of student ambassadors to promote Career Center events and services. Provide training, set expectations, and evaluate their performance to maintain high levels of engagement and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the Career Center team to promote Career Center programming and recruitment calendar through email campaigns, the Career Center website, social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, LinkedIn), and print advertisements to ensure consistent and impactful messaging.
- Assist the Director in overseeing the Career Center’s website and all communication efforts, ensuring the consistency of messaging, branding, and user experience for internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and manage a content calendar for social media to increase engagement and awareness of Career Center programs, events, and resources among students, employers, and other stakeholders.
- Serve as the employer Handshake Liaison, maintaining the system, ensuring employers’ job postings and event information are properly labeled and approved, and assisting employers in managing their accounts.
- Coordinate and facilitate workshops, programs, and events that promote student development and career readiness.
- Collaborate with the Program Operations and Data Analytics Manager to survey and assess the effectiveness of Career Center events, gathering feedback from students, employers, and other stakeholders to drive future improvements.
- Provide office support and other duties as assigned by the Career Center Director.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
This position requires a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent, along with one to three years of related office experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience. A strong understanding of the employer recruitment process, talent acquisition, and supporting employer partners is preferred. Additionally, candidates should have experience with social media job promotion and recruitment marketing, as well as excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders. Proficiency in computer systems, including database management, is required, along with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
