Build the reputation of a true engineering company
For this position, we are looking for candidates who are already living and working in the Netherlands, as relocation to the Netherlands is not available for this role.
At Schuberg Philis, we design, build and run mission-critical IT systems for organizations that keep society running; from banks and energy providers to logistics networks and public infrastructure.
Systems that simply cannot go down.
Our engineers work in autonomous teams with end-to-end responsibility. They combine deep technical expertise with a strong sense of ownership, working directly with customers to solve complex challenges that truly matter.
As we continue to grow internationally, we are seeking an Employer Branding Specialist to help build and strengthen our reputation as an employer in the Netherlands, Sweden and Germany.
Not through generic campaigns, but through credible stories, strong community presence, and a deep understanding of our talent markets.
As Employer Branding Specialist, you take ownership of how Schuberg Philis is perceived as an employer across multiple markets. You operate at the intersection of Marketing and Recruitment:
This is a strategic and hands-on role. You shape our positioning, build the programs, and ensure our story reaches the right people in the right way. Consistently, authentically, and with substance.
This is not a role where you inherit a finished playbook. You will:
Talent audience & market insight; You build a deep understanding of our key talent groups (Engineering, Delivery, Consulting, Sales).
Employer Value Proposition; You help develop and evolve our EVP and translate it into clear, credible narratives.
Community & reputation building; Talented professionals often engage through communities rather than respond to job ads.
Content & storytelling; Our colleagues do meaningful and complex work. Your role is to make it visible.
Candidate journey; You help design and continuously improve the journey from first touchpoint to hire.
Recruitment marketing; Recruitment marketing is part of employer branding, not the starting point.
This role is suited to an experienced professional with a strong understanding of both employer branding and technical talent markets.
Relevant backgrounds may include employer branding, tech marketing, developer relations, or community building. What matters most is an understanding of how engineers think and what they value. You bring:
We are an engineering company built on autonomy, trust and responsibility.
Our purpose is clear: Tech for Good using technology to create meaningful impact for businesses, society and the planet.
Founded in the Netherlands, we are now expanding internationally, with a strong presence in Sweden and active growth in Germany.

Some systems just have to work. They keep power grids stable, logistics moving, payments flowing, and vital public services online. You don’t hear much about them when they work, but when they stop, the impact is immediate, visible, and far-reaching.
That’s exactly the kind of work we do. We design, build, and run IT systems that must be reliable, secure, and uncompromising because people depend on them every single day. We call it mission-critical IT.
At Schuberg Philis, we go beyond traditional IT services by delivering promised outcomes, not just projects. Our Plan-Build-Run model means the same team takes ownership from start to finish: no handoffs, no middlemen. It’s how we’ve made 100% customer satisfaction not a goal, but a requirement. And it’s why 99.9% of our projects are delivered on time and on budget, helping customers realize solutions that are better, cheaper, and faster.
Our engineers bring deep expertise in cloud, data & AI, software, and security, not as abstract offerings, but as the means to solve business-critical challenges. Whether it’s banks handling millions of transactions, logistics firms keeping supply chains running, or energy providers maintaining grid stability, customers trust us when failure is not an option.
What sets us apart?
