Hours & Location
This position will work Monday- Thursday 0730-1800. The clinic is open Monday-Thursday 0730-1800 and Fridays 0730-1630. This position is located at the City of Rock Hill Employee Health clinic.
Pay Range
$47.50 - $71.25

Practice sees traditional acute episodic care and full primary care
Practice also performs workers’ comp & occupational medicine services, supported by aboard certifiedOccupational Medicine physician.
Call responsibility but no in-person shifts overnights,weekendsor major holidays
Ideal Candidates:
Minimum of 2-4 years of experiencerequiredin Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care. Occupational Medicine experience preferred but notrequired
NC Licensure and DEA
DOT certificationrequiredor must be obtained within90 daysof start date
American Heart Association BLS
Must be able to work autonomously
Essential Functions/Position Details:
Provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, referral, and follow-up for a shared or owned panel of patients or may handle on a by-visit basis.
Manages multiple chronic illnesses, performs minimally invasive procedures, and works with a stable patient population.
Recommend screenings and tests based on patients’ demographics.
Manages health care within protocols mutually agreed upon byphysicianand APP team members.
Identifiesabnormal findings early andinitiatesappropriate intervention
Provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, referral, and follow-up for patients on a by-visitbasis;including virtual visits.
Manages acute illnesses or chronic medication administration and works with a stable patient population.
Performs occupational healthexams such as fire fighter exams, workers compensation, DOT exams,and law enforcement exams.Additionaltrainingwill be provided for these examsifpreviousexperience is limited.FMCSA DOT examiner certification will beobtained within90 daysof hire.
Physical Requirements
Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, stooping,pushingand pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak English fluently and in understandable terms. Mustpossessintactsense of sight, hearing, smell, touch, and finger dexterity. Must have the ability to react and perform in stressful situations.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Must have or be eligible for a DEA license. Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in thestate one works Eligible for prescriptive authority application through the Board of Nursing or Medical Board in SCrequired BLSrequiredper policy guidelines and withexpirationdate greater than90 daysfrom date of beginning practice. Demonstratesappropriate criticalthinking, interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize and concentrate.
Nurse Practitioner
Master's Degree orDoctor of NursingPracticerequired License to practice as a Registered Nurserequired Certificationin the area ofpractice from a nationally recognizedcertifyingbodyrequired FNPcertification according topopulationserved.
Physician Assistant
Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant programrequired;Master's Degreepreferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
